SUPERKARTS! USA™ (SKUSA) is pleased to officially confirm that the 2026 Winter Nationals will take place at the Musselman Honda Circuit in Tucson, Arizona March 27-29, 2026. This announcement concludes an extended site selection process that saw several potential venues unable to finalize appropriately scaled logistics capable of supporting the size, and operational needs of the SKUSA ProTour.

“We delayed this announcement because we were committed to securing a facility that meets the high standards our competitors expect,” said SKUSA CEO Tom Kutscher. “Several tracks expressed interest but ultimately could not deliver. Musselman Honda has stepped up with an outstanding venue that rivals any national-level karting facility in the country.”

Located in the heart of the Southwest, the Musselman Honda Circuit has long been a destination track for competitive kart racing. Known for its smooth and challenging layout, the facility offers:

  • A technical and flowing circuit that rewards precision and strategy
  • Convenient proximity to more of our West Coast competitors
  • A recently repaved pit area designed specifically to enhance team setup efficiency and safety

“The improvements at Musselman Honda are exactly what teams and drivers need for a successful national event,” Kutscher added. “From the quality of the racing surface to the upgraded pits, this circuit has set a new standard.”

SKUSA AND RACE ROTAX JOIN FORCES ON EVENT SCHEDULING

In response to feedback from karting teams and competitors seeking greater scheduling coordination and travel cost efficiency, SKUSA is also excited to unveil a strategic alignment with Race ROTAX for the entirety of the 2026 SKUSA ProTour season.

Under this collaboration:

RACE ROTAX events will be scheduled neighboring each SKUSA ProTour stop.

  • MARCH 20-22, 2026 – MUSSELMAN HONDA CIRCUIT
  • JUNE 05-07, 2026 – MCC CINCINNATI – BATAVIA, OH
  • JULY 31 – AUGUST 02, 2026 – NEW CASTLE, INDIANA

  • Competitors will have the opportunity to optimize travel and logistics, reducing back-to-back event strain
  • Teams can plan more efficiently and lower overhead without sacrificing championship aspirations

“We’ve heard the concerns from our competitors loud and clear,” said Tom Kutscher. “Working cooperatively with KSG to align our event dates is a positive evolution for karting in the U.S. It’s not about two organizations—it’s about making the sport more accessible, sustainable, and enjoyable for drivers who compete in multiple championships.”

SKUSA and Race Rotax are committed to building a stronger, more unified karting landscape where competitors can focus on racing with consistent experiences at key events. Both series will seek to combine logistics where appropriate, including staff, officiating, and tires.
